Here is the latest offering from Shrimp Sauce out of Savannah, Georgia.  The label takes influence from the south, the swamp, and the ocean.  Shrimp Sauce was built off death, desire, closure, idealism, and beauty, and has risen from the Swamp to stamp itself in today’s market as a Cultural Pilgrimage.   Check them out here for more information and a great blog page.

Maiden Noir - The Great North

Canada based retailer, HAVEN, teamed up with our friends at Maiden Noir for this new collaboration collection entitled ‘The Great North’ project, which is an ongoing yearly capsule collection between the two. This is the second collaboration and by far is one my favorite capsules I’ve seen from Maiden Noir and for this collection the inspiration came from this year’s upcoming Winter Olympics, as Canada is the host country and Vancouver the host city, which also happens to be home to the new HAVEN SELECT shop. The entire collection is available at both of HAVEN’s locations as well as their online shop.  nice!

White T-shirt Tribute

Dedicated to the staple of every closet.  The good old White T-shirt.  It’s a tribute to every man, woman and child of all ages, genders and shapes.  The first Hanes White T sold in the 1930’s for .24 cents.  It has through time become a part of our culture.  It’s significance goes beyond just a shirt to encompass the political, sexual and social trends of the past.  It’s as prevalent today and in the drug stores of the past.  From presidents to rock stars to the girl next door. Lets celebrate!
